Are most creditors and debt recovery agencies seeing dmps as an alternative to bankrupcy and accepting them more or are creditor bankrupcy petitions still high when choosing this route as a way to dealing with your debt problems.

Posted - 17 July 2008 : 00:41:21 I believe that DMP numbers are at an all time high at the moment Jane, and creditors continue to tell me that they prefer them to any other debt solution - as they can retain them as an asset on their balance sheet, they can continue to charge interest and charges, and they can pursue charging order action against equity in properties - and in a very few minority of cases, they might just get repaid in full!
