Hi

Are most creditors and debt recovery agencies seeing dmps as an alternative to bankrupcy and accepting them more or are creditor bankrupcy petitions still high when choosing this route as a way to dealing with your debt problems.

thanks

I believe that DMP numbers are at an all time high at the moment Jane, and creditors continue to tell me that they prefer them to any other debt solution - as they can retain them as an asset on their balance sheet, they can continue to charge interest and charges, and they can pursue charging order action against equity in properties - and in a very few minority of cases, they might just get repaid in full!

For an informal chat about any financial difficulties, or advice as to the options available, I can be contacted via my website - www.melaniegiles.com
