We decided we do not want to stay in our house and were advised to miss 2 mortgage payments before going bankrupt. We miss the second payment on 11 Nov and move into rented accomodation on 15th and I go bankrupt on 1 Dec.
When we leave do I send the keys back to the mortgage company or wait for repossession? |

I would not worry then Help007. Just leave it and try to put it to the back of your mind.

Thank you have read that post so will do that.
In the post mentions about renting and advising of bankruptcy, just read my tenancy agreement and there is nothing about bankruptcy. Any clues? |

Hi help007,when i gave back the keys i phoned northern rock who sent o form out you send it back with the date your leaving the proprty. When you leave LEAVE the keys in the property (once you have locked it)they chang the locks anyway hope this helps may be different with each mortgage company
