Posted - 03 March 2009 : 08:45:06 The alternative is to contact your local county court ask to speak to the bankruptcy clerk (they may direct you to another court as not all courts have bankruptcy jurisdiction) ask for a pack to be sent to you for filing your petition in bankruptcy (all they will want to know at this stage is your name and address, it is a good idea to also ask whilst on the form when their next available appointment is as some courts are booking up to 4 weeks ahead, they are that busy, some though will fit you in that week
