During Christmas and New Year I realised that I couldn't carry on hoping that I might win the lottery to solve my problems!!

I don't have massive debts, a couple of credit cards, my car is on HP, and a couple of catalogues, but mainly I have a mortgage with an unsecured loan with my ex partner. We split in July 08 and I left with my twins who were 4 at the time and had to move back to my parents house, whilst he stayed put. I carried on paying my half of the mortgage until November 08 but had to think of my children! He is still in the house after having only paid his half of the mortgage for over 12 months!! I've been left with no option because he has no intention of moving out of the house or trying harder to sell it.
I'm nervous mainly of meeting the OR because in honesty I have tried to keep living the way that I have in the past but the company I have contacted to help me with this have given me a bit of reassurance.
My creditors have started chasing already and I'm told that even though they receive letters of authority allowing a third party to deal with this on my behalf they still will.
I would love to hear any advise from anyone about court, meeting with the OR, how they look at your income and expenditure, dealing with the creditors or anything else that you think might help.

Good luck to you all going through the same kind of thing.

Hi Jessica,

There are several posts regarding people's experiences with the BR process so have a look through some of the other posts.

Let us know if you have any specific questions and someone on the board will be able to assist.
