Hi KJ

Just wanted to ask how things have been since BR declaration in East Sussex (hope I remember correct!)

What was the OR interview like etc? Is the OR for East Sussex/Brighton human or horrific!?

Hi TL

I have only had contact with the OR for my interview which wasn't horrific only lasted about 20 minutes if that. He was professional but not an ogre, he said that he would have to go away and look at my figures with regards to an IPA and said that it would take upto 3 months to hear back, he rang 10 minutes later to say he had a look at my figures and there was definately no room for an IPA so I thought that was really nice of him as I didnt have to worry about getting an IPA.

Since then I have had no contact.

Do you have your date for when you are declaring. I used Paul Reviva as well, he was brilliant.

Let me know how you get on. Take Care

Hi KarenJane

Thanks so much for replying. Its just so great to hear from other East Sussex BR people. It really does sound like maybe the OR isnt as bad as I am dreading, fingers crossed my interview will be a short one too.
I thankfully have the help from Reviva and without that I would have
not been as 'optimistic' and hopeful! They are the best support and so apretiated!!

Keep in touch and I will keep writing too of course!!

East sussex Or is fine. try not to worry. i dealt with several people at their office all of whom were very polite and professional and non Judgemental.

Dont worry, you will be a happier person once you have things sorted.

P.s i found the or to be more approachable via Email.

Good luck. You will be fine ;)

Hi KJ and the guvnor

Sorry, I forgot to ask a question to you as you are in the East Sussex area:

Did you ever get any debt coll coming to your door? If so, what company and what did you do? What were they like etc..

I am mostly worried about this happening to me as you can probably tell....

Hi the guvnor

I will attend court as soon as I receive my RTA comp money wich is due in the next 4-6 weeks.....it seems like an absolute lifetime of waiting!! All my documents are ready as I have Reviva to help me and as my debts are relatively old and I have zilch assets my case is aperantly prett straight forward....crossing my fingers and toes as I am so scared its unreal!!!!

...what was the 'calling card'.....?

sorry,

the calling card was the usual 'one of our collectionagents called while you were out, contact us immediately to avoid further action' dont worry bout it, most wont ever call at your address just use it as an empty threat.

Hi TL,

I didn't have any debt coll companies visit me either, this might have been cos I moved and only one of my creditors found where I was but they didn't get to that stage before I went BR.

Like you, my debts were very old and I had no assets so mine has been very straight forward as well.

Hope your RTA Comp comes through soon for you, so you can start your debt free future.

Hi TL

As The Guvnor has already said, I am pleased I went through with my bankruptcy as well - 10 years of trying to pay it back on a voluntary DMP - wish I had done it sooner to be honest but Im nearly 7 months into mine now only 5 to go yippee!!!

You will feel like that as well TL

Take care

Karen xx
