Looks like my name as been removed from the insolvency register.
I was discharged in October, and the last time I looked about 3 weeks ago my name was there as discharged.

Just looked again and my name is not there. So they must remove after about about 3 months I presume.

Anyone else noticed this?

Looks like I have answered my own question. Just looked again at the Insolvency website, and it as confirmed that your name is removed from the register 3 months after discharge.

Hi debtrider, Yes it should be exactly 3 months from dischrge date that your name is removed automatically.

Amy, you need to notify the OR or any changes until you are discharged however long that might be. You have to co-operate (such as providing info on your liablities) for as long as the OR requires

Hi Amy, 12 months will soon go. There will inevitably be some worries at the beginning and during bankruptcy, but I'm sure you will get through it. All the Best

Hi all,

Amy, you will be fine.

As has been said, the 12 months will zoom by - I only have 4 months to go and it seems to have gone by very very quickly.

You will, I am sure, have some bad times and feel emotional about the position you are in - but, realise this, there are many in a worse situation!

That is not to undermine the seriousness of BR - it is a big step. But, more often than not, it tends to be the best way forward.

Good luck, Richard Parry
