my sister has got her self into a mess. she has never worked and married to a drug addict. my mum signed a house over to her to give her stability but she got herself into debt and she will be declared bankrupt. can my mother get the house back explainning that it was her house and that my sister was in no condtion to look after it. my sister was supposed to pay for it but that never happened due to her cicumstances..would the court think we are trying to pull a fast one...

hi and welcome to the forum
not sure about your situation and i would suggest you try talking to one of the forum's professional experts namely Paul Johns form RevivaUK www.revivauk.com or mel from jonesgiles www.jonesgiles.co.uk
either of them will be glad to give free advice pertinent to your specific case

On what you have written - yes. Why did your mum sign her house over to her?

Even though the mum may have signed over legal title to the property she will have still retained beneficial interest in the property which the trustee will have to allow for. The trustee will only inherit the beneficial value of the daughters interest, however due to the potential risk I would spend a free half hour with a specialist insolvency solicitor to see where she stands on this matter, it could be money very well spent taking paid legal advice.
