Hi
I have been discharged from my BR about 6 months now and would like to settle a debate I am having with my wife.
If I come into an inheritance now after my BR do i keep it all or would the OR still have an interest.
I also have about 18 months left on my IPA would this also have anything to do with any inheritance.
I believe the OR has no interest but my wife thinks otherwise.
Many thanks.

if the person who leaves the inheritance died before discharge then it is the ORs
if they die after discharge then it is yours
it should have no effect on your IPA either because it is not income

Don't worry or know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum.(Baz Lurhman)
RevivaUK and Paul Johns helped me through it all i can't recommend them enough!!

I would worry more about telliing your wife that she was wrong than any inheritance that may come your way.
