I don't know to be honest. I wouldn't have thought so as you've chosen not to work, but hopefully one of the experts will advise.

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

32 IPA payments made, 4 to go - the end is in sight!

I would doubt it, as you have chosen to strike and take the drop in pay.

Personally, I would never strike as my family comes first and I need to pay the bills.

Buckle your seat belt Dorothy, 'cos Kansas is going bye bye.

My gut feeling is that it probably wouldn't, but there's no harm in asking the OR's office - you may get a union rep!

The IPA is based on the amount you earn so if your earnings are reduced then you IPA should also be reduced. This should be the case whether you are forced to reduce your hours, your job changes to part-time or you decide to go on strike.

If this is only for one month and depending upon how much your wage is reduced the OR may opt to keep the IPA the same and expect you to make up for the reduction of the excess money once the IPA is paid. As you only pay between 50% and 70% of your DI you should have some money left over.
