can anyone tell me if we should let our insance companys know that we have gone br i never have and my insurances are coming up for renewal for car and house im happy with the quote so am going to just let them go on so the question is dhould we inform them of the br ??
it depends on which company and how much of an outcast they believe we are for being BR !
Aviva did my legs with both home and car policies, they say it was a computer error not anything about me being BR.
personally i would suggest informing them or else when you come to need them they will quote the small print and suspend the claim
they will know as they all do credit checks on you when you renew, dont forget as a BR you cant have credit over £500 without telling someone that you are BR
See my 2 posts in the last few days - we have sound policies with:-
AXA - our BTL - monthly payments - no premium for being BR Esure (my wife who is not BR) - monthly payments - no extra premium Saga - my motor (I am BR) - monthly payments - no extra - must be over 50 Coop - our house insurance - in my wifes name - monthly payments - no extra premium
Hope that assits
Richard
