I would like to declare myself bankrupt, what happens to a guarantor loan i have. My guarantor is on a debt management programme and can't pay the loan this is worrying me and preventing me from going bankrupt thanks.

The guarantor would be liable and the company may chase them for payment

Hi Sue

My obvious answer would be the one that you do not want to hear,

If you do not get an answer you want to hear can I suggest that you email one of the experts direct, they may have a different option.

Think they are all very busy with end of year run
