Ok so I have recieved valuations for my property both agents suggested to sell my home at 119,000 not the best news as after recieving my mortgage statement it states that we owe 109.000 so leaving us with 10k equity, my partner is under the impression that we need to raise that 10k (from somewhere) in order to keep the property, I on the otherhand am under the impression that we can transfer this equity to a 3rd party for a nominal fee!!!, please can someone clarify as at the moment nothing is making much sense!!

Someone, be that you, your partner or a 3rd party will need to raise the £10K (or half if jointly owned and only 1 bankrupt)
