 can i go bankrupt and still emigrate

i am 22,000 in debt and have had to move in with grandmother due to meet loan repayments. i am no pregnant, can i go bankrupt and still emigrate in a year or two as im a nurse wnating to go to oz too to work for bit with child maybe
also i am in private rented accommodation, will my bankruptcy affect this?

The bankruptcy wont stop you emigrating from this end, you would have to look at the individual policy of the place you were going to

Hi Claire

being BR will not stop you emigrating if you leave the country permanetly during your year or term of IPA you will have to maintain contact with the OR but email will be acceptable.
