Hi

reasons I have seen are:-

1. Not having advice - Judge asks you to get advice and return - quite common at Croydon CC

2. Forms being incomplete or filled out badly - Clerk may refuse to progress the paperwork - very common at the High Court

3. Where your assets outweigh your liabilities - Judge may request that you sell assets to pay for debts.

4. where the debt is very small and there may be a different solution better suited such as a debt relief order, an administration order or a very modest debt management plan

hope that helps

well remembered.

The centre of main interest is quite important.

Also it is always worth calling to confirm you have the correct court before you turn up on the day.

yep as paul says, check with the court, it is not always obvious you might be closer to one court but in the juristiction of a different one
