 18 months after bankruptcy

hi all,
i was made bankrupt 18 months ago, the other day i got a letter from a collection agency chasing a debt pre bankruptcy, i wasnt even aware of the debt and this is the 1st time contact has been made, can i tell them as the debt was pre bankruptcy i dont have to pay.

Hi Andrew

The short answer is yes

The longer answer is to give them the court reference and date of your bankruptcy and the date of your discharge, and personally I would give them details of the OR office that dealt with it, and tell them to send any further correspondence to the OR

im struggling to remember the date, the OR was in Leeds, how will i contact them?
