hi all finally got a reply on my hubands ipa the or had worked the ipa out on his wages when he wasnt paying tax so they have now sent a new amount that im ok with but they have now changed the i&e form saying that my husband now pays less money into the pot then on the previous i&e form they said this is in order to free money up so he can pay into a ipa

when we worked it out we only had £55 d.i left but they have found £160 saying that i pay all my wages into the bills so i dont get any free money and it also takes into account the tax creadit and the child benifit were as before theses were not incuded

can they do this ? any help please

Yes the benefits should be included, and the household expenses should be split pro rata between you based on your relative incomes

I am commenting on this not knowing all the facts, but the examiner cannot use all of your wages to balance income and expenditure to arrive at an IPA order, I am sure you will have your own expenses they can only take a portion of your income as a contribution to I&E I am assuming the husband is bankrupt and not you, if that is the case I would reject it and ask them to look at it again, I agree the benefits count as income.
