Hi.

I declared bankruptcy just over 6 years ago. Once this has disappeared from my credit record, am I legally obliged to say yes when asked "Have you ever been declared bankrupt?"

For example, I would like to apply for home insurance, but the fact I have declared bankruptcy appears to be a constant issue.

Thank you
