Hi Please can you help?

I was made bankrupt in December 2009, my mum wants to get me a small car for work, currently i rely on my bus pass to get me everywhere!! who will insure me, i am a new driver, and do i need to tell the or what im doing? Thank you

there are a number of insurance companies that will offer insurance and a lot that will not some will not even ask if you are BR or have ever been BR.
as for paying for it.... if you seek credit for more than £500 without telling them you are BR that is a criminal offence.
if you can pay the whole premium up front no problem generally if you do not want to pay by instalments they will not credit check you.
as for telling the OR if you need a car for getting to work then the expenses associated with a car are normally allowed in your I+E calculations and when it comes to your I+E review possibly towards an IPA they are allowable and will reduce or maybe eliminate an IPA
