The OR has postponed my IPA payments until my maternity pay starts, then it will be reviewed again. I have a parter who would like to move in but I am reluctant to let him as I am afraid he will have to pay my IPA for me, Would this be the case?
I went bankrupt before we got together and don't think its fair that he would have to pay for my debts. Many thanks in advance.

Hi Gamester

congratulations on your pregnancy

you partners income should not make any difference to the OR, however the OR will ask what is contributed by the partner to the household budget. your partner may have his own fincial commitments so may well only be able to contribute a small amount

your income and expenditure, will be all over the place , nappies, clothes , food etc so it will be hard for you, the OR and your partner to budget.

if an IPA has already been agreed you do not want to wait 3 yrs before your partner moves into your house, so it may be a case of speaking to your OR and hyperthetically examine the process with them.

not a direct answer but good luck

regards Richard
