Hi All..

Can anyone tell me if you go BR and are given
a BRO/BRU does it always apear in your local paper,
or is there any way around it.

Normally the BR will only be advertised on the Insolvency website and the London Gazette. The only time the OR will put a notice in the local paper is if they believe you haven't been completely honest with them and there may be more creditors that you have listed in the SOA.

As Gettingoutofdebt has said, it will not, in all probability be in the local press.

It will be on the IS website and for three months (approx) after discharge.

It will be in Stubbs Gazette and the London gazette - but hey, who reads these fine journals - none of your friend and neighbours I am sure!

Do not worry and if it is in the local paper (which it is unlikely as has been said) it will be tomorrows chip paper!
