can you let me know if there are any other costs associated with making yourself bankrupt apart from the £600 mentioned on this page. My neice receives sickness benefit and has a child - would she get a reduction in the fee?
Hi Richard Please forgive my ignorance as i don't know about these things. I am just trying to find out for my niece as she has got herself into a lot of debt and this seems the only way to get out of it. Thanks for all your help and advice - really appreciate it regards Julie

some people are able to self petition for bankruptcy, some need the guidance of an expert
I have not heard of anyone getting legal aid to help declare bankruptcy.
