Hi All,

I recieved a letter from the OR with a document stamped by the court dated the 12/08/10 saying that this is the date eraly discharge was granted, however on the insolvency register I am still showing on there as bankrupt. How long will it take for the insolvency register to update my details to show me as discharged. Also now I am discharged is there anything I need to do to clear up my credit report?

Congrats on the ED. It can take a couple of weeks for the Register to be updated to show you have an ED. I received an ED on the 19th Nov but the Register wasn't updated until about the 2nd Dec.

You can clean up your credit report using the instructions at http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=677875. I would wait at least 3 months before chasing your creditors though as they won't update your credit file immediately.

Are you sure it has not updated, you have to click on your name to go into the file and it should say discharged
