bankruptcy:my husband is under the OR until July 2011 and is going to be made redundant, we have a joint bank account what would happen if I was to take the redundantcy money out of the account? or i was to take half of it?
If he is made redundant during bankruptcy then he must declare this to the OR as per his duties on form NTB2 that he signed. The rane of punishments for not doing this and giving the money to you can vary depending on the circumstances up to and including prosecution and imprisonment for him and recovery of the money from you including recovery of property and assets
