i was declared BR in july and i'm still paying income tax. am i meant to inform them?? sorry if this is a dumb question

Hi

Your tax code should have changed to NT although sometimes this process can be delayed due to the process the collection agents.

If you are concerned I would recommend you speak to your OR for an update

If your HMRC hasn't changed your tax code then just carry on paying tax as normal. If the code has changed you will need to put the tax to one side as this will be collected by the OR.

HMRC is currently in chaos so I wouldn't be surprised if they are behind!
