hi just a little more advice if possible, im living with my parents in there house, will there income need to included in my bankruptcy, or just my own income. was told it didn't with a iva but unsure in bankruptcy. thanks. dave |

No, your bankruptcy will only deal with things in your name ie assets and debts, if you do not own the house, the OR will not be concerned, what he will be concerned with is what you pay out as expenditure, there is a limit to what the OR would class as board & lodge' ie what you pay your parents each month to live there, the limit is usually £200. You cannot cliam a higher figure or an amount towards utility bills etc as they are not your responsibility - they are your parents responsibility.
