hi all,

home contents insurance just came up for renewal (post office) and they say they are now unable to insure me due to my BR. I informed them when it happened and told them when i was discharged. They let my policy at the time continue but say they cannot insure me again until my BR has dissapeared from my credit report.

Does anyone know where i can get contents insurance from , i have 1 claim in the past 5 yr only for about £200 and i was discharged back in april.

I have also been refused life insurance by direct line dut to the discharged BR showing on my file - any one know where i can et some basic life cover.

thanks

Hi ONK

Hope that you are well and your family - anything on the jobfront in "Housing"?? cannot recall what you said a while ago...

On the insurance, try the Coop - we did and they accepted us and we pay monthly too - good luck

That sounds great.

Life is good for us too - back to being a housing consultant - at the moment, I am heading up a Housing Department in the north west of England - Housing needs, Homelessness and Strategy as well as Private Sector Housing. Very enjoyable

Good luck with the course in january - is that a degree or post graduate?

yes, in answer to the Coop - they are great.

Have a wonderful Christmas (a bit early...)

Richard
