Im confused as to what a discharge means, i was told this was at the end of the 5 years as my br has been extended. i was also told that if my income increases i will have to pay an ipa, how long is the maximum time the or can take £ for? it will be 1 year on the 11th dec 2010, what does this date mean? sorry once again to sound stupid, i guess ive been reading soooo much and got into a pickle!!! many heartfelt thanks Jay x

Right, dishcharge is when your bankruptcy ends. Since you dont have an IPA, you will not have to pay anything more to the bankruptcy regardless of future income or any assets you receive, is that clear.

Next the BRO is a seperate thing, it extends the restrictions only not the whole bankruptcy, the restrictions are just the list of things you can and cannot do such as gain credit or run a company

try and keep your posts in the same thread as starting many threads leads to confusion
