hi again!

another question please!

i have an 18 year old daughter still at college but starting university after the summer. she doesn't have a job. i give her £25 a week which she spends on the usual teenage stuff - toiletries / mobile / travel card / etc.

is it reasonable to include this in my soa or do i have to stop this money?

thanks.

Hi Tim - can you include it your household expenses (where you have a figure for food, cleaning etc) rather than list it as another expense?
If this bumps the figure up too high, you could list it separately and discuss with the OR if he/she picks up on it, or pay for it out of your disposable income.
At the end of the day she is still somewhat dependent on you so I think it is an expense you need to cover on your SOA.
