| hi all im new to the site,if any one can help it would be great.i was made bancrupt 2007 nov.so it was 3 yrs although date was 21 jan 08 so,21st jan 11 i should be clear right.this is where it gets complicated,i left my house before it was repossed,left country then i was made bancrupt,never spoke to aib or anyone.had no assets no cars no money nothing.when i check the insolvency register,it says discharge by process of law,but no date above it,but there is a discharge date on the bottom of the page ,need help understand it,as i am scared to approach anyone thanks l |

Hi
you mention the AIB so I assume you are in Scotland
I would suggest you call the AIB helpline to check the position. 0300 200 2600
I am not aware that you can check the insolvency register in scotland un less you apply individually

| hi thanks for your reply,yes im in scotland.i didnt respond to anyone involved,do you think they have checked all my buisness out ie bank which was empty,land register etc because i had nothing to declare to them.im really scared of approaching anyone for help this is why i joined this forum to see if anyone can assist.what i do know is i joined credit expert and in public records it states that the bancrupcy end date is 21st jan 11.thanks for reply |

| thanks to all who replied to me,1 simple fone call and i found out that id been discharged nov last year.thanks to forum experts for replies..just waiting on disharge papers coming through,and working with credit expert who are currently working to update my file for me,looking for good advise from anyone who has been here at my stage,ie just discharged,and what they done to rebuild their credit again,i got contract fone with o2 and have paid faithfully and will remain to do so,any advise will be a help.thanks nuishka |
