Hello all

I went Bankcrupt about 5years ago, I know It stays on your credit file for 6yrs, does it then automatically disappear or do you have to contact the credit agencies to remove it ??

Also is it then possible to get credit ie a mortgage?? Be v interested to hear from people who have managed it

Many Thanks
Gill

Hi,

It will just drop off your record as should any defaults.

You may have to wait a while before being able to get a mortgage though.

Buckle your seat belt Dorothy, 'cos Kansas is going bye bye.
