I have just been discharged from BR. :-) I am so happy! I went bankrupt at the end of July 2010. I do have one final question I really need help with to know what to do. I am pretty sure I am getting a bonus paid at the end of March, however, I have a NIL tax code so wont then pay tax on the bonus. The end of March is when my last payment is made to Moonbeever. What do I do? Do I inform Moonbeever and simply pay the extra tax? Will this highlight my windfall and the OR then take the money? I have read that now I am discharged, they cant now apply an IPA, or that I have to now inform them of any pay increases? Is that true? I want to do the right thing, I have found it worrying going BR, unnecessarily it turned out and I just want a true fresh start and nothing in the bank of my mind worrying me about money anymore. Thanks!!

Thank you! :-) Should i tell moonbeever about the bonus and that I will owe more than than usual for my last payment to cover the extra tax I should pay? I dont want the tax coming back to bite me at a later date? I guess this is what you mean?

As far as I know, once you are discharged from BR any bonuses earned are yours to keep.
