If all goes to plan , and with the invaluable help of reviva I should be going to court on Friday. To make sure I had enough money for the court I cancelled direct debits.
And today the phone calls started. I have had 3 calls from different creditors.
The first was one of those automated calls that expects you to hold on until one of their staff is available, so I promptly hung up. The second one asked me to answer their security details, I said I was busy and hung up. When the 3rd one rang and started asking me to answer security questions I saw red! I said I wasn't prepared to answer any of their security questions until they answered mine so that I could verify who they were, so I started asking them the same questions they wanted to ask me, ie verify their name and address and date of birth , memorable name etc. When the phone went silent
(I think they were trying to work out what to say to me!) I said very loudly "oh I think we have been cut off" and I hung up.!

Aren't they so quick off the mark?
Keep up the good spirits until you get your BR, then you can give them your BR number and say Bye Bye.
Glad to hear you have the support of Reviva. We found it such a peace of mind having them beside us.
Good Luck with Friday & let us know how things go.

Good for you Emm.

Hopefully you won't get too many calls if you're going to court this week.

Good luck and let us know how it all goes.
