hi im back nearly got my money to go br one important question ive got a notice of distess off bailiff which i have not signed and im putting this in my br they have my car down on it can they still take my car and can i put the the bailff down in my br many thanks so scared dont wont to loss my car its only worth 300 but its all i have left
Bankruptcy is higher authority than notice of distress.

IF you have court date and it is in short term future, you may find that by speaking to Baliffs company they will not chase further they will ask for a copy of court extract / order.
Hi I was in the same postion with some assets in my business.. Bailiffs had listed them. When i went to go bankrupt i listed the creditors ie companies like BT, Suppliers etc and did not list the bailiffs just the companies they where acting for. Afterwards when the OR called me I explained the bailiff situation and he wasnt bothered, He just told me to contact them and let them know my situation.
I still get letters from bailiffs from time to time but think they are automated cause i called them many times to let them know my situation
all good so far anyway... due to be discharged soon
