Hi all
I went bankrupt in Feb 2008 and was discharged in Aug 2008. I had to pay £80p/m to MoonBeever for 3 years, which brings me to Feb 2011. Will they stop taking the money automatically or do i need to call them? Also, if i get a inheritance in the next few weeks, will they need to be told?

Hi and welcome.

I would just check with them to make sure that you have made your last payment, I know Skippy had problems at the end of hers.

I think you will be ok with the inheritance but one of the experts can advise you better on that one.

I would give them a call to make sure they agree that you have made all your payments. If you are paying by standing order you must cancel it after the last payment is made as you control the standing order.

Once you are discharged from BR you do not need to inform the OR / MB of an inheritance, UNLESS the person died prior to discharge.

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 - it's over at last!
