You need to check with the court to be sure, but when I went BR all I needed to take was 3 copies of the BR forms and the money for the fee.

It's worth checking though as I didn't take enough copies of the forms and had to pay the court to copy them!

No, you won't need those until you have your OR interview.

Welshaly

When you go to court you will speak to the court clerks when you hand in your papers (3 copies needed) and fees but they will not ask you anything about your BR.

You may have to speak to the Judge,(we didn't)I think that this depends on the Court, the Judge & sometimes how busy they are!!
The Judge will just want to ensure that you understand the consequences of BR.

Following that you will get a 'phone call from the OR's office clerk to, again, check you understand the BR process, confirm a few details such as address & contact details & will ask if you have any questions.

The length between filing for BR & getting a phone call/letter again varies.

After that you will probably get some more papers, via the post, from the OR along with a date for your interview.

I think I am correct with all this, although it may vary depending on the court area.
I am sure one of the Experts can correct this if I am wrong.

Hope this helps

Hi,
Glafy is quite correct in the process, but the interview is likely to be a telephone interview which makes it less stressful, all you need to make sure, is that when you do have the telephone interview, that you have any statements to hand, along with any other documents that relate to anything you have entered in the SOA , such as insurance policies, tenancy agreement etc.

Hope this helps, I've just posted another reply about your son providing the bankruptcy fee, and the TV.
