Oh doggies - I love em. I desperate to have another as our lovely x breed sadly had to be put to rest last Aug. Oh how I miss him !!! My hubbie not so keen as he was devastated when he went...Thats the trouble isnt it folks, they are just like one of the family so when you lose them its terrible. I would always go for a rescue dog - Our little hound dog proved they are just the best. Getting all sad now :( - Kal I know re how can they abandon such lovely dogs but sadly there are peope, out there who have digs and just shouldnt. But then in your case, their loss is you gain.

I'm more of a cat person, but I know what you mean about losing them - I dread the day something happens to Harry Puss as I can't imagine him not being around.

We always had dogs and cats (always rescue animals) when I lived at home, and I loved the last dog to bits. Although I'd moved out when she went I was devastated - we'd got her when I was 14 and had her 16 years. I went through all my teenage troubles with her - she knew more about me than anyone else!

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

Mabel Blog....LOL Watch out Tracey...

Fab night with Mabel, she slept in her crate all night, whimpered twice and that was it!! Her and Hubby slept like babies, not me though, too excited. Plus both of them snore.
Have bathed her this morning to get rid of the 'kennel' smell, slightly better but think it will take a few more go's.
The Honeymoon period is great, not seeing things through rose coloured glasses but she seems a bit of a Babe.

Getting prices now for spaying....Ouch!!!

She sounds lovely glafy. My Russell is sat on my lap at the moment and it will soon be time for a walk!

Bless you for taking her on - not many people would.
