If your son lends you money to go Br then he becomes a creditor himself and will have to join the queue ....surely you could come to an arrangement with your son? As for the TV company how much do you pay for it? Its unlikely the OR will allow anything to cover “Pay per view” TV when all basic channels are free. The £300 you owe will be part of your debt as I see it. |

Your son could always wait until the end of your br to be paid back if that is possible.
As to the TV, you are allowed a basic Sky/Cable package I believe but anything else would have to be funded by you.
The £300 will have to be included in the BR.

Hi, As Kallis and Moodybluetwo said, regarding your son lending you the money to go bankrupt, technically he should become one of your creditors, but if he's willing to wait until you're discharged, you could take care of it then. Generally the OR doesn't ask where you got the £600 from, I never did!
As for the Pay as you view TV, is it one of the ones where you pay coins in to a meter?

Hi, regarding the TV, unfortunately it is a credit agreement, as the £8 you pay each week is the instalments, so whatever is outstanding will be claimed in bankruptcy , but do you know what type of credit agreement it is, as it could be the difference between keeping the TV, or losing it.
