My BR will end in June this year and I have to say it's been a pretty quick year too. Can anyone help?
my house is in neg equity at the minute and hopefully will remain so until the next 2 yrs are up. Can i sell it after it reverts back to me? Will i need to rent for the next 3 years before trying to buy again? What are the chances of me ever getting another mortgage? Has anyone been succesful on the forum? Please give me some hope... My marriage is just about hanging on in again and it may be all ok after all. Thank you everyone for supporting me to go BR, hubby also went BR three months after me and the pressure removed let our marriage recover. I am almost getting my life back. Anyone reading this, don't be afraid to go BR - it's not the end of the world.

Regards,

Hi Golf,

Glad things are going ok and I hope the marriage continues to flourish.

The BR will remain on your credit record for the full six years which means that a mortgage is unlikely at the moment.

Once the house reverts back to you then as far as I am concerned you should be able to sell it.

You will be able to get a mortgage again at some point.
Buckle your seat belt Dorothy, 'cos Kansas is going bye bye.

Hello Golf88,

Glad the marriage is Ok - long may that continue...

Stay in the house and pay the mortgage (I assume that is what you are doing anyway)

When the OR says he/she has no interest, then yes, you can sell. The market may well have picked up by then.

You will be able to get a mortgage again one day - probably not for 6 years though (as already said). There are some lenders (few and far between) that would consider you BUT at a cost

Good luck, Housing
