Hi again all.
Asked this question in prev but no response.
( very sorry about last post being terribly long-
got carried away)

RTLU is asking if I can 'oblige them' with what the
£4000 I received one mnth pre BR last year.I was in a car accident in 2008,
and it took 2years of treatment etc for the injury claim.
It was purely personal injury compensation and no
loss of income money.

Do I just tell them approx what it was spent on??( BR fees-home improv-new bed+ backfriendly madress..)
Are they checking to see if I gambled etc??

Maybe someone could help me here please:)

The first thing to do is just to tell them the details, why you received it and what it was spent on

Hi debtinfo

Thanks for replying. I will response to the RTLU with same
honest answer I gave during the OR interview.

I just thought the RTLU wording sounded abit
'sarcastic'.....but I could b just reading too much into it I hope:)

Thanks again

It would be highly unusual for them to be sarcastic in a letter to you

Hi Most worried,
as it's for personal injury, it would not vest with the trustee as an asset and so would not have any claim on it. The examiner at your interview correctly identified this, and took no further action, the RTLU are just no doubt making sure that it was for a personal injury claim!
