OK..... wife and I plan to go BR about 10th July, by at that time we a will be in a rented house (we get the keys 29th June), when we have the OR interview will it be a problem that we have gone BR in our mortgaged house, but at the time of BR we are in the the rented accomodation. Also when completing the SOA, in the expediture section do we list all the unsecurred payments.

One more sorry............. I have two children that we pay £200 maintenance, as they are my children (we pay everything together) does my wife put £200 on her expenditure section of the SOA.

Any input will be grateful.

The fact that you will have moved out of your mortgaged property by the time of your interview makes no difference, and you do not include payments to unsecured creditors in your expenditure listing.

If the maintenance payment is paid by you to a former partner, then your wife should not include this as part of her expenditure.

For an informal chat about any financial difficulties, or advice as to the options available, I can be contacted via my website - www.melaniegiles.com
