Hi again
1. Is it so that if you have disp income of less that £100 after all bill+living etc, then you shouldnt get any IPA to pay...? Or has this amount changed recently....? (I'll be lucky if I have £20 left at the end:)
2. And is the insolvency register updated ovenight or during a day?
Thanks again for your help:)

Hi MW,
from 1st Dec 2010 the IPA calculations did change. If you have £20 or more surplus income after all reasonable expenditure has been assessed, then this will result in an IPA being sought.
I.E if you have £15 surplus income, no IPA If you have £25 surplus income, then you will have an IPA for £25 per month etc.
During the day, exaniners, case clerks, and OR's update the system that they use to administer bankruptcies, which is then used to update the register on a daily basis.
Hope this helps
