I am 25 years old and have just lost my job and therefore I am unemployed. I have approx 12,500 of debt between 2 different banks. I have no way of repaying my debts and therefore I am seeking avise as what to do next? I have now recieve final demands and have no money to pay these. Would you suggest that bankrupcy is the best option?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

If you have no assets to be protected then a Debt Relief Order would be a good way to go. It would only cost you £90 and as long as you have less than £50 a month DI it would be over in 12 months.

Have a look at this link:
