HM Revenue & Customs want to file bankruptcy against my husband, we have a joint mortgage - what happens if they succeed, will we have to sell the house and will they seize any possessions?

If there is equity in the property then you would be looking at 50% of it going to your husbands bankruptcy as a rough rule of thumb..
