 hi, i went bankrupt on 18th january 2010

hi, i went bankrupt on 18th january 2010, will i be getting a letter off the court to say my bankruptcy is finished. thank you,

Check the Insolvency register, if you're not on there then you've been discharged.

Not now, no. You can request a certificate but I think the fee is £70.
