Hi there,
Ihave been bankrupt now for just over 2 years. I have been discharged for just over 1 year.
I recently tried to get a bank account only to have the bank come back and say i had 112k on my credit file as still owing and which was 6 payments in arrears. When i checked my file a property i had owned had not been sold. The official receiver had rented it out to reclaim some of the monies i owe. But the mortgage lender had made a new entry on my credit file for the debt. Of course i have no control over this so it is on my file as active (and could possibly be for the next 20 years) i really need it removed, as it will always count against me. Please can you advise me if there is anything i can do.
thanks Barry.

Hi Barry and welcome.

I've no idea about this I'm afraid. Hopefully one of the experts can help or you could try speaking to CAB to see if they can help or maybe visit a solicitor for a free consultation to point you in the right direction.

Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.

Dear Barry123

I really think that you must contact the OR. He does have a right to hold onto any of your properties for three years. So you have absolutely nothing to lose by speaking to him and explaining the situation. b It does seem strange that this has happened.

Kind regards
