Congratulations Simon.

As regards your credit record. I wouldn't bother too much at the moment in trying to rebuild it - it will be on your credit record for six years from the date you were declared BR.

Hi Simonshoot5

Everything that you have read above and seen through the links are helpful especially in making sure that your creditors have updated their records. Getting a credit file through Credit Expert may be useful and it is free for 30 days. Write to any creditor, included in the bankruptcy, to make sure that your details have been amended - you were bankrupt so all your creditor balnces should have been written off and your accounts showing as settled. It may be a good idea to try and get a credit card through, let's say, Vanquis Bank and make sure that every balance is paid off every month. You want to be seen as a responsible borrower again. It won't take long.

All the best
