well told HR department first to see what inpact it will have and it wont, just the affect on my pay. so thats good news.

i havent told my boss yet but planning that later.

i just didnt want to keep any secrets, dont see the point. any of the day ive got myself into this mess and i want to get out of it the best i can. I know work would of picked up on the NIL tax code so thought id tell them, might even get some support.

True - I don't earn enough for them to change my tax code so it really won't affect me at work.

Itis a bit of a dilemma in certain jobs the Q of BR
is looked at abit badly ,I think you can avoid lots of inconvenience with an an innocent lie if we no what other reason could be there for NIL tax code.
Unfortunatly my job is one of these.

I told my boss what I was doing and he was great.

Regarding the Nil Tax Code, I have heard that one can be applied if you have over paid tax in the past.

Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.
