When I married my wife 18 months ago she was an undischarged bankrupt, what I would like to know is as we are now married am I liable for her debts? and if I were to receive an inheritance (in my name only) would this be taken from me to pay her debts?
Your wifes debts are hers unless there was anything joint?
If not then your money is your own and any inheritance you get is yours and will not be taken from you.
I presume she is now discharged?
