I've took a change in career were I'm earning half as much as I use to and now struggling to make my loan repayment for my car. I've never missed a payment on it since taking the loan on it out (it is on hire purchase) some 9 months ago, the loan runs for another 13 payments. Would it be possible for the car finance company to allow me to reduce my repayment so I can carry on paying it, or would it be best to exercise my right for voluntary termination which I can do after another 3 payments?

Thanks,
Steve
